The 2021 Estonian Nationals Rd 1 was held at Tartu RC Track. In Nitro Buggy, Hendrik Lainemae took the TQ after 3 qualifying rounds followed by Rainer Ressar in second and Tonis Lattik in third. In the final Hendrik Lainemae was leading from start to finish, while the battle for 2nd place took place between Rainer and Arco. The battle lasted till final lap until Arco flamed out and Rainer passed him to take second place.
In eBuggy it was a tight battle all day between Hendrik, Karl and Randolf. In qualifying it was Hendrik who would take the TQ spot followed closely by Karl and Randolf. In the first final we would see Randolf taking the win followed by Karl in second and Markus in third. The second final was won by Hendrik who retired in the first final due to technical issues and was now able to defend his spot from attacks by Karl and Randolf till finish. The third final was the deciding one, in the beginning it was Randolf who got the early lead but lost it after a small crash to Hendrik. Hendrik was able to pull away a bit till his rear tyre started to become unglued mid race slowing him down. Having a trouble to defend his spot, Randolf was able to make a pass and take home the overall win in eBuggy class followed by Hendrik in second and Karl in third spot.
