The 2021 Swedish Nationals was hosted by the club of MHF Skarpnack, at the beautiful Flatenbanan, located in Stockholm. Champions were crowned in 3 different categories, 1/10 electric TC modified, 1/10 IC, and 1/8 on-road.
Unfortunately, after two great days of practice in sunny weather, heavy rain came on Saturday morning. For the electric classes, it meant that the whole event was run under wet conditions. I used all my experience from previous wet racing, to secure both the TQ as well as the overall win! With a lot of standing water on the track, the conditions were very challenging for all competitors.

I was very happy to win the title nonetheless, and I was also very happy to see the youngster Markus Elmersfors take the runner up spot, also running an XRAY car, making it a 1-2 finish for the team.
I was positively surprised to see many junior drivers in this category, and especially to see many of them with XRAY cars! This is our future, and it's very important to take care of our junior drivers for the coming years.
