Race report by Paul Ciccarello
This past weekend was the 2nd Annual Victory 1/8 Champs. This was my second time to the event and track and it was a great layout and fun time overall!

I arrived Friday for some practice and right away my cars were really good! I messed around with some tires, shock oil and swaybars.

I decided to run 4 classes. Probably not the best idea but I decided what the heck. Wasn't the first time, won't be the last!! I was able to TQ plus 40 Ebuggy and nitro buggy, qualify second in Pro nitro buggy and Pro Ebuggy. I had a shot at TQing all 4 classes but a couple bobbles left me a few seconds back in the pro classes.

After looking at the main sheet I decided it was best I didn't run the Plus 40 nitro main as it was back to back with the Pro nitro main. I'm glad I didn't because it would have been too hectic. I was able to take the wire to wire win in Plus 40 Ebuggy and after a few laps moved into the lead in the Pro Ebuggy race and hold it to the end. The Pro nitro main didn't go as well, but it was mainly some bad choices by me that prevented a better result so I ended up 5th after an epic last lap battle with Mike Legue.

Thanks to Adam Curry for the help in the pits and pitting me in the main.
