In the dry weather conditions it was Nejc Mihelic (Xray) who set the pace in the early free practice. After 4 rounds of qualifying, it was again Nejc Mihelic (Xray) who won all 4 rounds of qualifications despite some close battles, followed by his teammate Tobias Sutrich (Xray), Kandelhart Gerhard and Patrick Wendy (Xray), who made a successful comeback to the 1/8th nitro class.
In the superpole battle, Tobias Sutrich (Xray), Kandelhart Gerhard, Patrick Wendy (Xray) and Leonardo Varga continued the fight for the last direct spot in the final. Tobias Sutrich (Xray) showed an amazing performance and overcame his rivals for more than 0,2s while Wendy (Xray) did not manage to participate in the superpole battle due to engine troubles. Despite the troubles, Wendy(Xray) managed to make it to the finals with the 2nd place in one of the half finals.
After some nice battles and different strategies in the finals, it was again Nejc Mihelic (Xray) who won the 45-minute long after, followed by Tobias Sutrich (Xray) and Gerhard Kandelhart.
As the last race turned in favor of Nejc Mihelic? (Xray), he was crowned as Austrian national champion 2021 with the 3 victories in 4 races, followed by Gerhard Kandelhart and another Xray driver Tobias Sutrich.
Tobias (Xray) was also the winner of overall youth championship classification.

Race report by Christoph Rohrmoser
The Austrian 1/10th nitro champion is crowned in the 4th and last round of the championship.
Christoph Rohrmoser the reigning champion in this class started strong into the qualifiers with a TQ in the first and fourth round of qualifying and secured the overall TQ for the championship deciding race on sunday, also it was the 3rd consecutive TQ for him. In the main final everything worked well for Christoph. From the beginning of the race till the end he did not give up the leadership. His championship opponent Stefan Strasser had an technical issue and gave up the race after 10 minutes, from now on on the way was free for Christoph to take the title. With a perfect balanced NT1 and a flawless driving he took the victory on this day.
