Last weekend, the last race of the 1/8 Buggy season was held on the Astro-carpet track of TR Hobi in Ankara.
The cold weather made it difficult for us and our driving as it caused the ground traction to change unexpectedly. On Sunday morning, when everything was chilly, the grip was almost non-existent in the Practices we have started, the track dried up with the sun showing towards noon and real times began to emerge.
There was though competition within each group. In the afternoon, before the final, the weather again cooled and resulted in losing grip, and our lap times started to decline, but there were breathtaking struggles between those who could keep up with this change quickly.
I competed with tough opponents this weekend with my XRAY XB8E 2021 model Buggy and MKT Racing Shorty batteries, and I started the finals as TQ and finished the day with victory by taking 2 of the 3 finals.
I'm glad to see XRAY Team mates Bayram Solmaz and Emrah Kutlu finishing 2nd and 3rd.
Thanks to everyone who contributed to the organization, TR Hobi, who made it possible for us to race by presenting their tracks, and also everyone who participated in the race. I congratulate all my friends who won degrees in these difficult struggles.
