XRS round 2 at NORCC (Newcastle on Road RC Car Club).
Saturday practice was unfortunately rained out. Arriving at the track on Sunday with beautiful weather, but a slightly damp track, a little bit of sun allowed the track to dry out.
Qualifying was tight across all classes, with Xray at the top of time sheets after three rounds of qualifying in all classes.
This round would see the return of modified to the series and along with the demo class of formula one.

Modified making a return to this round of XRS. Qualifying would be in the direction of Michael Stone taking TQ, Steve Cornell taking 2nd and Tim Rhodin in 3rd. Finals would have some driving errors from Michael Stone, allowing Steve Cornell to capitalise the win in A1 and 2. Michael Stone (Xray X4) taking 2nd, with Wade Faber (Xray X4) showing some consistent driving to round out the podium.

Stock would see some fierce battles for the top spot. With Chris Peet taking TQ, Michael Stone 2nd and Peter Wong 3rd. Finals would be fast with some epic battles up front. Seeing Chris Peet (Xray X4) capitalise on his TQ position, taking home the win, Michael Stone (Xray X4) moving up to 2nd from 3rd qualifying position and Pete Wong (Xray X4) rounding up the podium in 3rd with Wade Faber (Xray X4) a close 4th.

Formula one would see Brendan George taking TQ honours. Finals would see a different story unfold with Ross Lalic from P2 managing to sneak away with the win, followed by Cameron Kendall from P4 sneaking away with position number 2 and Russell Mallise continuing his qualifying consistency taking out P3.

Sportsman would see Qualifying going the way of TQ to Luke Hair, 2nd to Scott Hill and 3rd to Ray Zarb. Podium finish of Luke Hair in P1 (Xray X4) Ray Zarb in P2 (Xray X4) and Scott Maher taking out P3.

Next up would be the big boys, GTE. This racing would see some epic battles between Christian Silva qualifying TQ and Rick Seymonsbergen, AKA the GT expert in 2nd. With newcomer to the tour scene, Cameron Kendall taking qualifying position 3. Finals would be fierce with some adrenalin filled battles between the top three divers. Rick coming out on top, followed by Christian Silva and Cameron Kendell rounding out the podium.
