European Championship 40+
The race was hold in Raco2000 near Utrech in Holland. The first practice day (Monday) was raining away, so no practice that day, now we know what conditioning where for wet race. Next 4 days was fine weather. Dry and 10 to degrees.
I did not find the track 100% in these days, but I maned to put in P3 before the finals.
We get to final day and the weather was very vet. We tried to delay the finals for two hovers.
The track was wet at slippery, but we have to drive. I got a perfect start from P1, but after 19 laps I got moist it to my receiver and must retire. My mechanic fight for it and we got the car out again for 11 more laps, so I could secure the spot to the finals as P9.
The final was starts, JB was the fastest man all week, but he gets water into the electronic after six laps.
Traugott was very fast on the wet, and I was aware it was just to secure the 2 place, just keep the car on the track, and make the speed high enough to make space form Jurmin Etnel at 3rd place.
45 minutes was very long in that conditioning. Every corner there was lot of water to go around. Keep the engine hot was a big issue. All went good for Xray.
