Report by Stefan Schulz
Yeah I did it

I got 1st place in 3 out of 4 classes! And yes I was totally exhausted after the race.

I have ridden Hobby 17.5T, Stock 13.5T, 1:12 Stock and FWD. We had agreed among ourselves to drive completely according to the ETS regulations so that everyone had the same chances. That also worked great. The track was based on the last ETS in Hann Munden (thanks Tim for the layout) and was super smooth but still challenging.

In 1:12 Dirk Brauer wanted to make life difficult for me, which he did well. The first two finals were very exciting and always had nice fights.

FWD ran very well right from the start. Thanks to Oli who prepared the car well for me at the race. It wasn't that easy with 4 classes. I also secured pole position there and won the first two finals. Although I came against the limit in the first one and had ground my diamond from the 1 minute on. It's a very good setup if you have rear problems with the new tires.

The Hobby Class 17.5T was clear to me from the start that it would be difficult against Jasmin and Manuel, who both won the last ETS RD5. However, I had hit the mark with my start set-up. I started the final from 2nd place because I made a driving mistake in the last heat. The duels with the two together were all the better for it. In the end it went well for me with 2 wins.

Unfortunately, bad luck in Stock followed me from the start of the final. I was able to win every heat in Stock, but due to technical problems and minor driving errors, I wasn't able to take home the win. However, driving was great fun and congratulations to Lukas and Moritz for the great performance.

Congratulations to Jasmin and Manuel for the great fights and entertainment off the track.

After the race, I went straight to the night shift. That's why I'm only getting in touch late.

That's it for this year's race. I will recharge my batteries over the next few weeks and start again in January and train for the final run of the ETS in Daun.

I wish you all a Merry Christmas and a happy new year if you don't see or hear from each other anymore.
