Race rapport by Calle Jaque
Qualifications
Calle was able to start from 2 start position. Calle started behind Soren but Calle caught up to him pretty quick and passed him for the lead. And went on to win the first qualifying of the day.
Calle started from pole position in front of Soren and Kasper. Kasper had some trouble catching up to Soren and Calle. About 3 minutes in to the qualifying Calle made a big mistake when he got a bit too close on a curb and went flying at the end of the short straight in front of the driver’s stand both Soren and Kasper went through. When Calle rejoined the track he had to drive more aggressive to catch up to Kasper and Soren but he managed to catch up to Kasper and almost passed him but in the end it wasn’t enough.
Third qualification, Calle started from 3rd start position and had to pass both Soren and Kasper in order to secure pole position for the finals. Calle catched up to Kasper pretty quickly to go up into 2nd place and went on to try and catch Soren. About 3-4 minutes in to the race Calle had caught up to Soren because they had hit some traffic. Unfortunately for Søren he ended up hitting the slower car in front and got send onto the grass and Calle went on to pass him and take the lead of the 3rd and final qualifying. Calle drove it safe and secure to the finnish line and went on to take pole position in the finals.

Finals

The first final Calle started on pole position and drove very stable lap times and began to pull a little gap down to Soren. Soren also made a gap down to Kasper in 3rd place who was struggling a bit with his car because it was a bit under steering. In front Calle was doing fast lap times to try and pull as big of a gap down to Soren as possible. Nothing really happened in that final everybody stayed the same position all throughout the race. Calle went on to finish on pole and Søren took 2nd place and Kasper took 3rd place
All the drivers got a really good start Calle started to pull a very small gap down to Soren who tried to lay as much pressure on Calle as possible and 2-3 minutes in the race Calle made a small mistake and hit the curb on the last corner so the car drifted the wrong way. Soren passed Calle and took the lead of the race whilst Calle chased after him to try and put pressure on Soren in the hope that Soren would make a mistake but he didn’t and Calle and Soren had a great battle for the lead but Soren ended up winning that final
All the drivers got a little confused when the tone suddenly rang because there had been no countdown from 10. But the drivers got away and Søren and Kasper made a mistake in the first corner and lost a lot of time to Calle who had got a pretty good start and was already a couple of tenths in front Soren quickly caught up to Calle who had made some changes to his car that didn’t work the way he thought it would. Soren never got up really close but tried very hard. In the end Calle drove the pole position home safe and went on to win the race.
