Based on the all-new XRAY XII 1:12 pan-car, XRAY Project Manager Martin Hudy created the perfect platform to dominate the new World GT class of 200mm 1:10 pan cars.

Knowing that the X10 would need a versatile design — participating in classes with either open-tire rules or spec-tire rules — particular attention was paid to the rear end of the car to give it the perfect combination of rear traction, corner speed and steering under any conditions. Well-proven yet ‶conventional※ T-bar technology again proved to make for faster and more consistent handling.

Top-quality materials such as self-developed composite mixtures, HUDY Spring Steel™, premium Swiss 7075 T6 aluminum and highest-grade graphite are part of XRAY’s signature, and the X10 has them in abundance. Conventional and Proven 1/10 platform
Starting with a conventional yet proven 1:10 platform, legendary RC designer and XRAY’s award-winning Chief Designer Ing. Hudy Juraj made simple yet smart changes to all aspects of the car… incorporating well thought-out details and unmatched precision of all small details. The X10 is based on the successful XII platform, the all-new XRAY 1:12 pan car. The chassis parts were all increased for the X10 with the majority of parts sharing with the XII.

Brushless optimized
The X10 has a weight balance that is optimized when using brushless motors, though brushed motors are easily accommodated in the rear pod with a bit of shimming to compensate for their lighter weight.

Chassis
CNC-machined chassis is custom-manufactured from 2.5mm high-grade graphite material with a specially-designed compound for carpet racing and asphalt racing. Chassis layout is optimally designed to provide proper stiffness for excellent handling, while being flexible enough to generate best grip and traction. The super-narrow T-bar system chassis design and layout centralizes all weight along the centerline.

Front Chassis Protection
The front of the car is protected by a high-resilience foam bumper mounted on a tough graphite lower bumper, with a place for personal transponder.

Front Suspension
Strong, simple, yet refined front suspension made from strong lightweight self-developed composite material. Reactive caster settings available using 2.5°, 5.0° or 7.5° eccentric bushings. Tiny yet strong HUDY Spring Steel™ pivotballs ensure smooth, bind-free operation. Fast & easy adjustment of front caster, track-width, roll center and ride height via included shims and clips.

The front suspension is connected to the main chassis plate via a graphite suspension holder and shims. The graphite suspension holder is specially designed to provide the best possible flex of the front suspension. Moreover, the holder offers 3 possible mounting locations for the front suspension, giving easy-to-change wheelbase adjustment.

Steering
Alu servo mounts with two different mounting positions allow fitment of most popular micro and mid-size steering servos, and a tiny yet robust servo saver protects the servo from impact damage. Easy Ackermann adjustment is made via shims mounted below steering block pivotballs.

Adjustable Reactive Caster
Reactive caster is easily adjustable by using easy-to-change eccentric bushings of 2.5°, 5.0° or 7.5° (included). Reactive caster is used to adjust the amount of caster change when the front end of the car is compressing (diving) or decompressing (rising).

Adjustable Wheelbase
X10 allows wheelbase adjusting by moving the front suspension on the graphite arm mount plate. The graphite arm mount plate has 3 holes for wheelbase adjustment which allows to make car longer and shorter by 5mm.

Optional Tweak-free Servo Mount
Optional Tweak-free Servo Mount Plate is available to ensure that the steering servo is mounted independently of the chassis and will not produce any unwanted chassis tweak. The set centrally mounts along the centerline of the chassis with the servo mounted independently on aluminum stands on the graphite servo mount plate. The Tweak-Free Servo Mount system is available in two sizes for either micro or mid-size servos.
