All-new XB8E chassis was designed from the ground up to provide a solid foundation for XRAYâ™s high-performance electric off-road racer. The CNC-machined chassis is made from high-quality Swiss 3mm 7075 T6 aluminum, and has been strategically machined in low-stress areas and anodized for lightest weight affecting strength or rigidity. All-new weight distribution with centralized placement of internal parts for improved side-to-side weight balance.
Non-essential material was removed to allow for the lightest weight and lowest possible center of gravity and ideal chassis flex. The downstop setscrew area has been greatly reinforced, and all screw holes on the bottom of the chassis are countersunk to give a very smooth chassis underside with no protruding screw heads.

Note:
Swiss 7075 T6 is extremely rigid aluminum material and after the hardcoating process in rare cases some small cracks may occur â“ for example, around openings or on edges where tension in the material is highest. Those small cracks are a natural effect and have no negative impact on the performance, reliability, or lifespan of the product and as such are not considered to be a defect.
Due the nature of the aluminum material and the machining process, it is normal that the chassis may be slightly bent in the longitudinal direction.
