Chassis features repositioned holes for more rearward engine mounts which allows better gear mesh adjustment, and machined openings at front & rear for graphite stiffeners and additional weights.
Overall, the chassis is narrower to increase chassis flex and generate more traction and steering. The narrower width with beveled outer edges prevents chassis contact during cornering, and helps to eliminate the feel of the car ‘stopping‘ in mid-corner. Bottom screw holes have been countersunk to provide a smooth lower surface.
The lightweight chassis is CNC-machined from 5mm premium Swiss 7075 T6 aluminum, strategically machined in low-stress areas to make it as light as possible without affecting strength or rigidity.
The chassis features cut outs for all bulkheads, front lower arm mounts, radio plate mounts, and front shaft holder as well as rear layshaft bulkheads for perfect fitment and to ensure that all parts key into the same positions.
