A: Yes. The T1 EVO2 has new part number #30 0002. If you order the kit, be sure to order this part number. |

Q: What suspension is included in the T1 EVO2 kit? |
A: It was found that the original pivotball suspension works superbly in most racing conditions around the world. It is easy to adjust and set up, and in feedback, most customers evaluated the pivotball suspension as excellent. As such, it was decided it would be featured in the new T1 EVO2 as well. |

Q: Why is there also an optional C-hub suspension? |
A: Of course XRAY does not compromise in any issue, and there was a lot of research and tests done on the new C-hub suspension. Because the new C-hub suspension was also found to work excellently in many racing conditions, it was decided to manufacture and offer this new C-hub suspension as well, but only as an option part. Now each XRAY driver has a FREEDOM OF CHOICE. This superb new optional C-hub suspension gives a slightly softer ride, and is a great way to set up your T1 for different racing conditions. It gives you an extra tuning option from the excellent original pivotball suspension to optimize the T1's handling to your requirements. It's up to you to use the original pivotball suspension, the excellent new C-hub suspension, or a combination of both; you have the freedom of choice! |

Q: Can I combine the suspension types? |
A: You can combine the different suspension types (pivotball and C-hub) on the T1; one type at the front and another at the rear. At the World's warm-up, drivers used pivotball suspension in rear and C-hub suspension in front. You can combine the suspension as needed and required. You cannot, however, combine parts from the different suspension types. |

Q: When should I use what suspension? |
A: Generally the pivotball suspension is hard to beat at fast tracks, the new optional C-hub suspension might be a great improvement for very technical tracks with a lot of corners. |

Q: What suspension do team drivers use? |
A: Both suspension work great, it is just the preference and the requirements of the track. Just to introduce a few examples: Jilles Groskamp won the DHI cup at a technical carpet track with standard pivotball suspension in tough competition against top European drivers. Travis Schreven won the US Nationals with an out-of-the-box T1 with pivotball suspension. The reports of the C-hub suspension from around the world confirm that in certain conditions and certain tracks,though, the C-hub suspension is slightly more effective. At the last Euros warm-up, Colombini from Italy raced the pivotball and set the fastest times at the track, 0.01 sec faster than Jilles who raced the C-hub suspension. |

Q: Are the T1 and T1 EVO2 parts compatible? |
A: The new T1 EVO2 is based on the T1 concept. All T1 parts will fit the T1 EVO2 and vice versa. |

Q: Can I convert my T1 into T1 EVO2? |
A: It is possible to option the T1 to create a T1 EVO2, though we advise rather to purchase the whole new T1 EVO2 kit, where all the new evolution parts are included. |

Q: What is new on T1 EVO2? |
A: The T1 EVO2 includes all the latest options (check the specifications as the list is too long to list here) that were found to be an improvement for the performance or are easier to work on. One of the most important improvements are the new XRAY shocks. If you check the comments and complaints in previous user forums, 90% of all complaints were about the original T1 shocks. The new XRAY shocks should be finally the solution to bring satisfaction to all. The XRAY shock parts are not compatible with Serpent shocks, as the new XRAY shocks are shorter than Serpent rear and longer than Serpent front, so all parts of the XRAY shocks are original XRAY parts. The same for the new XRAY springs, they are not compatible with Serpent springs. However, the design of shock towers on the T1 EVO2 will enable you to mount Serpent shocks on the car. |

Q: Tell us a bit more about the new XRAY shocks. What are the differences and benefits with them? |
A: The new XRAY shocks are shorter than the rear Serpent shocks, and are longer than front Serpent shocks. The size was found to be the most suitable for electric touring cars. All four shocks are the same, using the same parts, no more different front and rear parts. The keyed rods are different from the keyed rods for Serpent shocks, but use the same system. The new keyed pistons are the same. You can build adjustable or non-adjustable shocks. They are easy to build and work without problems. |

Q: Will the newly designed XRAY shocks fit on the old T1 shocktowers? Or will we need to buy new shocktowers as well when I want to upgrade to new shocks? |
A: Due to the different lengths of the new XRAY shocks, you will need the new shock towers front- and rear, and also need the new (much more consistent!) springs. On the other hand, the new shock towers of T1 EVO2 were designed to be backwards-compatible with Serpent shocks, that means if you still have Serpent shocks, you can use them quite easily on the T1 EVO2. |

Q: What springs are included in the kit? |
A: The springs included in the kit are white (soft). A few kits include silver springs, on the chart of new XRAY springs they represent the white (soft). |

Q: Are XRAY springs compatible with Serpent springs? What all springs are available? |
A: The new XRAY springs have different ratings than Serpent springs, they have also different length. A complete set of all XRAY ultimate racing springs is available as part number #308390, or you can get the individual sets:
Yellow springs - super soft (#308393)
White springs - soft (#308394)
Blue springs - soft-medium (#308395)
Violet springs - medium (#308396)
Purple springs - medium-hard (#309397)
Red springs - hard (#308398)
There are 4 springs in a set, total 6 sets in the whole ultimate collection of springs. |

Q: Why there are no tires and inserts in the kit? |
A: There are no tires and inserts in the kit. The reason is that the T1 EVO2 is a top competition racing kit, not a toy. As in each country different tires and inserts are used, it was decided not to include any tires, as everybody uses his own tires and inserts. |

Q: Does the 6-cell chassis work well? |
A: The new 6-cell chassis is a great benefit in several conditions. You can still use any standard saddlepack battery positions 3+3. However, in some conditions you can put all 6 cells along one side (and put more weight on that side) which may be an improvement for a particular track.
For example, at the last European Championship warm-up in Lostallo, at its very fast track with most corners to the left, it was found that the weight load on the left side (all 6 cells along the left side) gave better performance.

Q: Why the steering blocks have the old part number? |
A: The original steering blocks were reinforced several months ago, and the latest T1 kits and also the latest spare parts were delivered with the new reinforced steering blocks, therefore the part number remained. |

Q: Why the optional alu teflon shock bodies are not as standard part? |
A: The original nylon shock bodies were found to be working excellently in many top racing conditions so there was no need to make the kit more expensive by including this part as standard. |

Q: What balls are in the differential? |
A: The balls in differential are steel, as they work very well. For improved improvement, you can use the optional carbide balls (#305091). |

Q: Why do the diff rings in the ball differentials not have two different sides anymore? |
A: It was found to be complicated for many customers to build the original diffs correctly, due to the two different sides of the diff rings. Now both sides are the same (polished), and there is no need to worry abut correct assembly now. However, be very careful to break the diff in correctly! |

Q: Why there is no belt tensioner included? |
A: Separate belt tensioners put undue strain on the drivetrain, and wear out the belts. With the new adjustable bulkheads, you can easily adjust the belt tightness should you need to do so. Of course, we still do offer a belt tensioner as option part (#303070). |

Q: Why is the new top deck cut? |
A: The new top deck makes the car a little bit more flexible, which makes the car easier to drive out of the box on most tracks. For further tuning options there are two optional top decks available: #301161 Stiff Top Deck (stiffer than the stock deck), or the #301170 Ultra Flexible Top Deck (softer than the stock deck). |

Q: Can I use stick packs? |
A: Yes, you can use sticks packs if you use the optional #306170 Stick Pack Holder. |

Q: With the optional C-hubs installed at the rear, will it still be possible to change toe-in at the rear? |
A: Yes, rear toe-in can be set very easily with the rear C-hub suspension. Simply insert clips between lower suspension pin holder and bulkhead (at the front of the rear lower pin). Voila! Rear toe-in is set. The shims used to set the toe-in are: 1mm = 1° rear toe-in, 2mm = 2° rear toe-in, 3mm = 3° rear toe-in. |

Q: With the optional C-hubs suspension, how do I set caster? |
A: Caster is very easy to set on the front C-hub suspension. With one caster block you can create 0°, 3°, 6° caster. Originally there are 3° caster blocks in the set. If you have anti-dive set to 0°, you will have 3° caster. If you move the anti-dive to 3°, you will create 6° caster. If you will have 3° anti-dive and you will put the right steering block on the left wheelaxle and the left steering block on the right wheelaxle, it will create 0° caster. |

Q: With the optional C-hubs suspension can you still use the anti-roll bars on the new arms? |
A: Yes, the new arms can be used with anti-roll bars. |

Q: Does the XRAY T1 EVO2 have the blue sealed bearings in the whole car (in the bulkheads, in the steering blocks, etc.)? |
A: The T1 EVO2 features the new high-speed blue covered bearings that are the successor of the High-Speed bearings. They have mostly the same construction; however they have larger balls. They are also already degreased and lightly oiled. All this adds up to smoother operation and longer life. |
