6-Cell Chassis - Graphite Assembly |
The 6-cell chassis is extremely versatile in that there are numerous layout possibilities for the batteries: |
A.: 6 cells along left or right side. To be able to place all 6 cells along one side you will need to use the optional #306160 6-cell battery strap. |
B.: Three 3+3 saddlepack layouts. You can place the saddlepack in any position you will need. |
When using the new 6-cell chassis, the rear bulkheads must have notches in the leading edges to clear the batteries. |
You must use either the new #302000 adjustable rear bulkheads, or file nothces in the original bulkheads. |
We recommend to use the new adjustable bulkhead that can be also used for belt tightness adjustment. |
The new 6-cell chassis enables you to place the steering servo either on the left or right side. The stock top deck enables you to mount the 6 cells also along the right side, you will have to get the new top deck #301180 with eccentric holder (the same as it is in the 6-cell chassis). Based on which side you mount the steering servo, turn the accentricc holder of servo saver in the chassis and upper deck. (option #301180) |
A.: If you place the servo on the right side, turn the eccentric holders so the notch faces to the right. |
B.: If you place the servo on the left side, turn the eccentric holders so the notch faces to the left. |
