X4 and X4F win at Simply Fun Racing Series, R1 in Netherlands

Xray wins both classes at Simply Fun Racing round 1.
Last weekend marked the highly anticipated first round of the Simply Fun Racing series.
The race took place at the MRC Vianen indoor Track, known for its high levels of traction. This series utilizes a spec Hobywing Justock 17.5 motor for both classes, while the Touring car class made use of the Hudy C28 tire.
In the Touring car class there were plenty of fast drivers, and with the high grip the tires and track provided, drivers had a hard time keeping it on 4 wheels during the 2 qualifiers.
I had my car dialed in and was fastest in both qualifiers and would start from P1 for the finals. The car was really easy to drive with good speed.
All 3 finales I could pull away and take the win with a comfortable lead.
In the Fronty Class, Patrick Jongenelis faced a challenging task starting from P3 in the finals.
The first race, A1, witnessed a close battle among the top three competitors. Patrick managed to skillfully navigate through the field and snatch the victory.
A2 saw another thrilling battle, which unfortunately resulted in a slight contact between Patrick and the leader. Displaying true sportsmanship, Patrick waited and eventually finished second, just 0.1 second behind the leader.
It all came down to A3, the deciding race. Patrick quickly overtook the second-place driver and gradually closed in on the leader. Applying immense pressure, Patrick forced the leader into making a few small mistakes, allowing Patrick to seize the opportunity and overtake for the win. This final victory secured his overall win in the class.
