The second round of East Touring Series 2024 was held at East RC Speedway, we had a total of 68 racers this time which competed in Blinky 13.5 class, Front Wheel and Sportman Class.
The Blinky class adapted what is rumored to be replaced the Open Brushless class of TITC next year: any Speedo with Blinky mode, outlaw 13.5 motor with 0.18 ohm IR limit
Qualifying went smooth for me. The traction keeps built up as the temperature rise (we are running special Team Powers tires with more rubber composition on it, that's why the front bite will always goes high as temperature gets high). Many drivers got an issue with traction roll this time. However, my X4 2024 did the job by securing earlier 2 legs of qualifying, handed me a TQ and sit out on the 3rd one (we only allowed 1 set tires for the whole race)
Main final went smooth for me even the temperature keeps its peak. I was able to bring home earlier two legs win ahead of Muhammad Izzah and Ridhwan Suteja.
Beside of a huge new entry of the race from the newcomers, we also got a number of new XRAY racer who decide to switch and run the X4 platforms
