XB808 podium finish at SRS Series R2, UK |

| With Rnd 1of the SRS series a great success for the team , Rnd 2 to be staged at Slough & would see if we could match that result again. With 150 drivers buggy & tuggy combined meant a long day for this single day series. The UK XRAY team of Ralls, Hazelwood & Sawyer including the RCdisco XRAY team would do battle with the might of Cragg, Drescher, Truman , Willets , Brunsden, Chung, Alsop, Barton just to name a handful of the top guys racing so would make it a tough day. The bone dry track led to a very dusty surface that only started to clear for the finals & with temps staying just over 30 deg c all day made it a long & hot one for us all. |

| For the team Reece showed us his clean heels all day with consistent top 4 times placing himself 4th on the grid. Jon had a day to forget with two DNF's but a 4th in Rnd 3 showed his pace was strong but would have lots to do in the finals from way down. Bren & lady luck not with him today having to make the main the hard way from the B. |

For the Finals races where reduced to 10 minutes due to the sheer numbers & the A set for an 8 oclock start. It was now a case of who could or could not do 10 minutes on a tank as to stop meant you where nowhere. In the B Bren drove well within himself & the car to save fuel, taking the lead at 7 minutes & the top spot with a bump up into the main, the swap to Reece's setup worked well helping him to bring his pace up to that of the front few for the main.
The main was just a dash with one mistake & you was history, no one stopped for fuel so we would see who could make it. |

| A very clean & fast race making it a very enjoyable end to the day, the pace would use more fuel than allot thought so would be interesting in the dieing seconds of the run. Reece got away with the front couple to finish a very deserved 3rd, Bren fought from 12th on the grid to secure 6th in what was a star struck final of most of the uk's finest. In the end some failed but most just completed it crossing the line to finish only to cut on the straight, funny as hell, well made me chuckle. |

After 2 rounds of the 5 event series so far gives Reece 1st in the championship & Bren 2nd with the next event at the end of June at Kent.
