| The Malaysia National Championship round 4 (of 7 rounds) was held at the newest permanent RC track in Dungun Terengganu, and was attended by almost 100 drivers from all over Malaysia. The track is located on the beach side on the east coast of Malaysia, 5 hours from Kuala Lumpur. |

| Team XRAY Malaysia from all over the States gather at the track early on Wednesday for practice and team discussions. The 2-day event was held on the 14th (Friday) and 15th(Saturday) with four categories to compete in: 1/10 GP Expert, 1/10 GP Novice, 1/8 GTP, and 1/10 EP open. We started our practice on Wednesday morning and all XRAY drivers only participated in the 1/10 Expert and 1/10 Novice categories. Baha and Mahadzir (Abedey) were the earliest drivers who got the final settings for Friday qualifying and most of the XRAY drivers ran very well on the first day of practice. Baha and Abedey did a good job to help other drivers to get their final setting, which is NOT an easy job because XRAY is a large team with more than 30 drivers attending this event. |

| Friday, May 14th was qualifying day, with very good weather and temperatures around 37°C and 60% humidity. The track conditions changed and a few of our drivers struggled with earlier settings. Front runner Team XRAY Baha and Abedey also faced the same problem and we ran the same settings on practice day while trying to get the optimum setting during heats due to track being closed for practice. At the end of qualifying day, we had four XRAY drivers in the A-main Expert (Abedey 3rd, Baha 5th, M.Shah 6th and Pau Kacang 10th place). In the B-main Expert we had five drivers (Suah,Sanusi, hafeez, Fizi and Joneh), and finally in the A-main Novice we had only two drivers (Zack 4th and Zamri 7th). Saturday, May 15th started early at 9:00AM with E-main 1/10 Novice followed by other finals. In morning session, the highlight was the 30-minute B-main final. We saw Suah fighting for the 1st position with the leader from Edam Racing. |

| The main finals (A-Main Expert) started at 5:00PM local time for the 1-hour race. All drivers got a clean start and pole driver Azri pulled away from the pack as early as 1 minute later, followed by Bad, Abedey and Baha. At the 4-min mark Baha closed the gap with the lead car and the battle began! The two leading cars (Azri and Baha) had a gap of less than 2 seconds. Baha took the lead from Azri in the pit on the second refueling but after a few laps Azri retook the lead after a small mistake from Baha. The gap was still very close. Baha choose to drive safely and tactically, not pushing to hard due to the long length of the final; tire wear was very critical and his plan was to run with only one set of tires (42F and 45R). Abedeyâ™s engine flamed out, giving Bad a chance to overtake him. |

| Battling for the lead is very critical within the first 30 minutes of the final. Suddenly Azriâ™s engine flamed out and gave a chance to Baha to lead by 3 laps; he drove flawlessly to won the race with a 6-lap lead. Due to no battle for 1st place, highlights were on 2nd and 3rd place which saw Abedey and Azri battling for positions at a gap of only 5 seconds apart. Abedey and Azri needed to change tires which gave Bad an advantage, but when the two drivers came out with new tires they caught up with Bad very quickly, leaving Bad in 4th place. Abedey and Azri battled for 2nd place to the final minute of race time. Azri managed to overtake Abedey in the final lap of the race. |
