Round 2 of the Portuguese National Championship 1/10 electric touring car took place at the CRO track in Sintra. There were 12 participants in Modified class and 13 in Stock class (13.5T). The track is characterized by its big size, but the downside is the windy and dusty weather usually found in that location. Luckily the sun shone and the wind only blew gently during the weekend.

Saturday morning was dedicated to the preparation of the track, cleaning the surface, and spraying it with traction compound. The afternoon was open for free practice.
On Sunday morning it was time for the four qualifying rounds. In Modified class Helder Silva and Hugo Miguel both won 2 rounds, but in the end Silva took the advantage of having a faster qualifying and claimed the pole position.

In Stock class Jorge Simoes was again the man to beat, driving carefully and saving his tires for the final, because only one set of tires was allowed for the race day. Unfortunately the wind brought some pollen which spread in a thin layer over the track, making the track surface very slippery drive on.
On race day there was a hunt to find a set-up that would counter the poor grip conditions. Then it was time for the finals.

In Modified class Hugo Miguel swept all 3 rounds with his T3â™11 SpeedPassion-powered Audi A5, followed by Helder Silva Mi4cx and closing the podium was Ricardo Furtado with his T3´11.
Fernando Cordeiro took the fastest lap of the day with 25.387 sec.
