Race report by Martin Bayer
The first race of this year - EOS (European offroad series) took place in Langenfeld near Koln. It is one of the most important races held in winter season. The club made a great job and prepared an amazing track and facility for this event. With so many top drivers attending this race it was hard to fight for the podium finish.

We started on Friday with free practise runs. My car felt really good right from the begining and I made just minor changes to get more speed.

The first qualification run was set-up on Saturday evening. With each lap I felt more and more confident and was improving my lap times and ended up 6th in qualification.

On Sunday we ran triple mains. In first main I had a bad start and got stuck in traffic. I recovered pretty fast and managed to finish 6th. In second main I made a few changes on my car but unfortunately it resulted in having too much grip. So for the third main I switched back to the initial set-up from the first final race. With good start I was able to keep in the front of the race field and finished second. Overall I finished fifth.
