| The 2013 ROAR Carpet Nationals was held on March 13th-17th in Horsham Pennsylvania at Horsham RC. Team XRAY was represented by Ralph Burch, Drew Ellis, Craig Xavier, Dana Mckee, Arvin Nano, Ron Goetter, Jason Scheffler and many other XRAY drivers. The team was on hand to support the product at the race. Middle River Hobbies had a mobile on site hobby shop that was well stocked with XRAY product. |

We showed up Wednesday night to set up our pits and get checked in for the race. The track was 90 plus by 40 plus with a flowing layout. The layout was fun to drive and fast with high bite but could be difficult at times due to the dots.
The format for the race was one practice day with open practice in the morning for an hour with 2 rounds of controlled practice. Cars had to be checked in and ran though tech for the 2 rounds as they would be used for sitting for qualifying. The next day would be open in the morning for an hour followed by two rounds of qualifying. The same the following day and the last day would be just the mains. |

| In practice: The team got testing setups for the track. Everyoneâ™s cars were working well and ready for the next day to start qualifying. |

| In qualifying: The team did great! We had the most cars in each touring class. Craig Xavier put it second on the grid in stock TC. Art Scrimo put it third, Sal Amato 7th, new to the team Ron âśGoatâť Goetter ninth and the other new guy, Arvin Nano tenth, making his first A main at a national event. Congrats 5 out of 10 XRAY cars in the stock main. In Super Stock TC we had: Drew Ellis third, Art Scrimo fourth, Sam Nelson sixth and Adam Brown tenth. Congrats 4 out of 10 XRAYs. Art, Sam and Adam are from 5280 raceway in Colorado and they are private tiers. Congrats guys on making the mains. In Modified, Drew Ellis put it second, Mike Dumas third, Ralph Burch fifth and Jason Schreffler seventh. Congrats 4 out of 10 XRAYs. |

| The mains: In stock TC Craig Xavier would get a great start and with a mistake from the leader, he would win the first of three mains. Art Scrimo would win the second one from third on the grid with good driving. The last A main for stock TC would come down to Craig and Art, with Craig starting second and Art right behind him in third. Craig won the last one crowning him ROAR National Champion. |

| In super stock TC Josh Cryul would take the win in the first two races, leaving the rest of the field to race for second. With a close battle for second in the last race Ray Darroch would take the win to secure second over Drew Ellis who would end up third. |

| In modified TC in the first A, Josh Cryul would take the win after holding off a hard charging Ralph Burch. In the second main Josh and Drew got a good start and pulled away from the field. Drew was chasing Josh down but due to a mistake made by Drew he would have to settle for second. With that win for Josh, he became the new ROAR National Champ. Congrats. The last main was for who would be second and third. Drew Ellis held off a hard charging Mike Dumas to win the last race. |
