The last round of EOS was on schedule last weekend. A week ago I travelled to XRAYâ™s factory in Trencin, to meet Juraj and Martin Hudy, Reno Savoya and Jirka Mara, to work on a very challenging project. We decided to prepare the very first prototype XB2 car and meet the competition at the last round of EOS.

It was a really challenging task but Juraj and Martin worked hard and prepared perfect conditions for testing on an indoor track of their own facility in Trencin. It was hours nad hours of wrenching, testing and driving, but when we called it a day we had a car ready to hit the track.

Being a newcomer in any class is always tough but the hard work, energy and enthusiasm we put into this paid off and we got the top ten finish in the the very first race with only a prototype car!

In the 4WD class I was struggling a bit. As this was only my third big race in this class so there is still a lot to learn. Anyway, starting 7th from the a-main grid didnâ™t give me much chances to fight for the podium, but after a few changes to the carâ™s set-up I was able get through the field a finish this race in 3rd.
