The 5th round of the UK north west regional series was held at the Bury Metro Club which was once run by father Roger Wood. The race saw about 90 entries in 2WD classes.

It rained all day on the Saturday before so the start was wet. The day did dry up slowly so I let the track come to me. Stu Wood managed to TQ in 2wd and went on to win the A Main in front of Mark Smith and Chris Elsworthy. This then makes Stu the champion of the series with 1 round remaining.
