The first carpet race of winter season 2014/2015 was held in Trutnov, which is located on the north of Czech Republic. Series called Rebels Race boasts of high organization level, great competition and friendly environment. Organizers offered these 4 classes: Open, Stock, Formula and Hobby.

The 4th of October was chosen as ideal date to set up the first encounter. Interesting fact is that other series had its last summer season race also placed on this date. Nice contrast. But back to racing.
As usual the hall, where competition was going to take place, was opened from 8 PM on Friday. Then organizers started to prepare track layout made of white plastic bars. As they have a lot of experiences, track was finished fast and then we could hit the carpet. The practice brought us a big fun, so we continued to early morning hours.
On Saturday morning arrived another competitors. And then at half past eight the race was about to start. The starting grid was full of well-known names but that´s just nothing to wonder about.

Formula
VĂtězslav Hola was the fastest and giving no chance to another guys won the race. The second place came to Lukáš GombĂk and Zdenda Beneš ended up as third.

Hobby
This class for beginners was controlled by Milan Maxymov, who didn´t lose his pace until he hit the finish line. Very young and talented Ondra Kohoutek finished as second. The third position was taken by Jaroslav Kopecký sr.

Stock
Stock could be described as âśjust closeâť. At the end Aleš Pelikán became the most successful and showed how important is having a TQ. Michal Kneys reached the second place and finally Standa Němeček stood on the 3rd spot. Unfortunate fourth position came to Milan Wolf, who did his best, however it wasn´t enough to get podium. Pavel Ĺ vec completed the TOP 5.

Open
Kuba Šimurda, having premiere with new Xray T4´15, struggled strong and took both, TQ and overall win. There was a strong fight for the second position among VÝa Hola and Michal Blahovský. At the end the second named was more successful and VÝa got at least the remaining 3rd spot. Jirka Janoušek, having a comeback to RC cars racing, finished as fourth. The last place in TOP 5 reached driver from Poland Wojciech Rozwadovski.
