The AME MCSS-Open took place in Althengstett last weekend. 135 drivers started in three different classes. In the Modified class a lot of good international drivers attended, like my teammate Tim Wahl and the Nitro World Championship TQ Driver Dominic Greiner.
The track was pretty nice with a good flow and some nice fast chicanes. The carpet was the same as at the ETS indoor season. For this race we used the new ride indoor tires.
The event started Saturday morning with controlled practice in groups. My car worked very well and I was able to dominate the practice in all rounds.

In the first three Qualification round´s I made too many mistakes. Tim Wahl was very fast now and finished on 1st place. After some small set-up changes I made a perfect run in Q4 which gave me the TQ spot. It was the only 27 Lap run at the whole weekend.
In the first final there was a big crash at the start, which took me to the end of the field. Tim won and Dominic finished 2nd. The start of the second final was like the start before. A big crash in the first corner took Tim Wahl till the end and Dominic in front who drove to the victory. I finished 2nd.

The last final was the deciding one between Tim, Dominic and me. We all had the chance to take the overall victory. I had a good start and very fast first laps. I knew that my run have to be faster than Dominic´s victory. I pushed till the end and won my finals with the fastest runtime.
