It´s already five years since Czech National Championship is unbreakably connected with the end of winter season. And this year´s situation hasn´t changed, so that RC Team Rychvald from the east tip of our small country could make the race of races on their home carpet track.
That hall, which hides local carpet track is just something you couldn´t find every day. Building is brand new, everything is clean, restaurant and hotel are even closer than you expect and the best? Distance from highway. Just two kilometres.
All those facts (also considering the name of official race) enticed more than 80 competitors from the whole Czech Republic. The strongest competition was clearly in popular Modified class.

Friday practise was included again. This time it was really useful as the track had lack of traction. Finally in the evening it has got some and everything seemed ready for Saturday´s encounter.
Not only qualy heats created time schedule for the first weekend day. Also can´t forget on practise heats and driver meeting, where important rules were spoken. Then the race could continue.
GT Stock: The slower pancar class was all time under control by Andrej Vnučko. This guy from Slovakia won all three finals and reached victory. Second place came to local driver Libor Holub and Martin Kučera finished third.

GT: Full powered 2WD specials created also one group. At the end Ondřej Kulhánek became the fastest. VĂťa Hola, who was expected to reach title, finished second and Roman KrejčĂ was third.
Formula TRUE: The word âśtrueâť means usage of rubber tyres, which are mandatory for drivers, who want to compete in. Also one lady participated here. Or not even participated. Marie Szostkovová set the fastest pace in finals and no one was able to catch her. Second place came to TQ man VĂťa and Libor Holub finished third.

Formula: With foam tyres this time. Luděk Szostek, father of Marie proved capability of their racing family and brought home another victory. Second place reached his fellow Roman Kavan and Ivo Trojan finished third.
1/12: At the end Kuba Ĺ imurda could be the most satisfied, as he won each five minute run he stood on the starting line. Second place came to Aleš Pelikán and JiřĂ TlustĂ˝ finished third.

Hobby: Matěj Matlák â“ young talented driver from local racing club, won this rookie class. Second place came to Vlastimil Ĺ vec and Jan KošĂk became third.
Stock: Jarda KopeckĂ˝, as the favourite of race did not give any chance to others and took TQ and victory in first pair of final heats. Second place came to Aleš Pelikán after close fight with JiřĂ TlustĂ˝ on third position. Martin KratochvĂl surprised us with fourth place overall and his father Karel finished fifth.

Modified: The most popular class. Almost no one from best Czech drivers was missing so fight for the first place could be amazing. From the beginning Marek Cerny set the early pace, but Kuba Simurda was pretty close. In qualification Kuba was able to exploit Marek´s hesitations and also his bad luck to reach TQ. Second place on the grid took Jirka VyšĂn, who found the right set-up in last two qualys and Marek started from third. This order didn´t change even after final heats and Kuba became winner. JiřĂ was second and Marek third. Fourth place came to Petr Grof and Jarda KopeckĂ˝ â“ Stock champ, completed TOP5.
