So, after last year's bad weather preventing us to make this event, this year we had beautiful weather and lots of drivers attending this peak event on Tolmin's track in Slovenia. All drivers were very curious about the new asphalt on the main straight...and now it is really a nice track to drive!
XRAY drivers made some huge results on this track, taking victories in both 1/10 Touring and 1/8 I.C. track.
1/10 Touring:
In the main final it was pole sitter Alojzij Osvald who led from start to finish on his first outing with his new XRAY NT1 2015, REDS M3 WTS and TopRC Special Track EVO fuel! Second was Gabor Lazslo from Hungary (XRAY NT1) and 3rd was the Italian driver Paolo Mariuzza.
Jernej Vuga won the final after starting 2nd behind Nejc Mihelič. Jernej changed his car's set-up for the final and the risk paid off. Some laps after the start he passed Nejc Mihelič and then stayed in the lead till the finish. The pole sitter Nejc Mihelič had a crash during the final and had to retire while being in 2nd place.
