September 24th was the decision day in Stock class, and the day on which Rob Janssen would be able to take 2nd position in Modified class. Bart Wubben had already secured his overall 1st place finish in Modified class, and was not present at this event.

The battle for 2nd place in Modified class was between Rob Janssen and Tony Vredenburg. As Tony attended the IIC in Las Vegas, Rob Janssen was â€on his own’ to try it. But Rob had a bad day in qualifying and had to start both A-finals from the back of the field and was not able to capture the â€oh-so-wanted’ 2nd overall position. The pole position was a tough battle between Hugo van de Berg and Stefan Jansen, and it was in the last qualifier that it was decided in favour of Stefan Jansen. The finals were very nice to watch and Stefan took 1st place, followed by Hugo van de Berg and Sven van Essen.

Stock class was a little different. The final ranking was still wide open, making this 6th and final race very exciting. Four drivers were still able to claim the championship title. Vasco Christiaanse was one of them, but was not present. Jan van Steeg qualified first and was closely followed by Steven Koiter and Richard Oversloot.

In the finals, the battle for the championship was between Jan and Steven. Both finals were super thrilling and very close racing for the top 3. Jan had a jump start and was punished with a Stop and Go. Despite that he was able to finish 3rd after Steven Koiter and a very good-driving Richard Oversloot. In the 2nd final Richard was able to overtake Steven and the finish order was Richard–Steven–Jan. With this Jan was certain of his championship Stock.

Both B and C finals of Stock and Modified classes were also very good to see and contained lots of hard-fought battles.
