X-SHOP understands that you need to maintain your privacy when you
use the Internet.
X-SHOP respects your interest to keep your personal information
secure. Therefore,
X-SHOP is committed to protecting your privacy with modern and effective
technologies.
X-SHOP appreciates your trust and will handle your personal information
very carefully and discretely.
Collecting and Sharing of Personal Information
Personally-identifiable information will only be collected to the
extent that X-SHOP deems reasonably necessary to serve a legitimate
business purpose. X-SHOP asks you for your personal information
when you register as a customer on our site. X-SHOP collects personally
identifiable information such as your email address, name, and contact
addresses and telephone numbers. X-SHOP does not collect sensitive
data such as your race, religion, or political affiliations, because
we consider it extremely personal and this information does not
influence relations with our customers. X-SHOP does not sell, upload,
post, email, transmit or otherwise allow external use of your information.
There may be some instances when X-SHOP cannot fully ensure that
your private information will not be shared by a third party. If
a need ever arises for an investigation or to resolve problems,
we can (and you authorize us to do so) provide information about
you to government officials or law enforcement. This is also at
our sole discretion.
X-SHOP does not store any credit card information for your increased
security.
Security of Personal Information
We use Secure Socket Layer (SSL) methods providing maximum security
and encryption for all your personal data entered to make a purchase.
SSL protocol was designed by Netscape Communications. SSL encrypts
your credit card number and transmits it over the Internet in an
unreadable format until it reaches our servers where it is decoded.
This technology enables encoding of all your personal information
when creating a new account. In addition, each submission of your
order will be encoded by SSL technology. The indicator of an active
SSL protocol is a small padlock, which is displayed in status bar
of your web browser. If this padlock is displayed, you are using
SSL protocol. Sensitive data, like credit card numbers, are not
stored anywhere and are known only to the clearance bank at the
moment of payment. If you make a new order, you will need to submit
your credit card number again. Your order information is protected
by a password that you set. If you forget your password, our server
will automatically verify your identity and then e-mail your password
to the e-mail address you have listed in your account.
Software Requirements
The minimum recommended software requirements for using SSL technology
are Internet Explorer 4.0 and higher. Minimum cipher strength is
56-bit. (If you do not know the cipher strength of your version
of Internet Explorer, you can find this information in the toolbar
by clicking HELP and ABOUT INTERNET EXPLORER.) If you do not have
this software, XRAY recommends you visit the Microsoft's site and
update your browser. Another possibility is to use a non-secure
server connection, but X-SHOP cannot ensure you privacy in this
case.
Use of cookies
A cookie is a text file that is placed on your hard disk by a Web
server. X-SHOP never uses cookies, because it does not consider
them to be the most secure way to restore your personal information.
