The second round of the 1/10 200mm Madeira Island regional championship was held last sunday.
This was my first experience with the XRAY brand. The building of the kit was great, as expected, with no sort of problems. The first run with the 2013 car came late. Only one day before the event but the impressions were really positive right from the start. I started with a modified basic setup, using my previous experiences from the Cancela track.

The thing that suprised me the most in this early test was the way that the car uses the rear tires, making the tire consumption lower than I was used to.
The race finally came and the first impression were confirmed. Second place after the semis, and a very nice and well faught battle in the final to take the victory. In between, a new track record in number of laps in the final, 92, with an average of 19.5s and a personal best of 18.919s. I have to say that i was very impressed with the NT1 2013 kit.
