Sunday October 20th, at the Ayrton Senna mini racetrack in Melzo, we attended the 13th edition of Picco trophy. There were many important drivers: Ielasi, Picco, Tironi to name only a few.
After the three qualifyings, there were two RX8s in the top 3, 2nd place was Ciurlante Andrea, 3rd place was Boni Cristian.
Right after the start of the finals Picco took the first position, the second Ciurlante, Boni third, and Ielasi fourth, the game ran smoothly for about 20 minutes, until Ciurlante had a collision with Picco and both ended up in the grass. Boni took the opportunity to grab the lead, Ielasi had some mechanical problems and was forced to slow down, Picco worked his way up to second position, but then a radio failure stopped him. After 30 minute final, 1st place was for Boni with RX8, and 2nd place was for Ciurlante RX8. Good race for Xray RX8, fast and consistent from beginning to end.
