The 1/10 Electric Brazilian Championship was held on the CAAR track.
The weather on Saturady was very challenging. Early in the morning the track was prepared and ready for the start, but later in the morning it rained, so the track had to be dried out again before the first free practise. Soon after the free practise it startes to rain again. Because of the quickly changing weather conditions only 2 out of 4 heats were held.
Sunday was cloudy and cold, even with no rain the conditions on the track were still unstable and hard to adapt to. After the heats the starting grid was as follows:
After Felipe Franceschi wining the first two final legs in front of Neto, the champion was decided. In the last final race Neto crossed the finish line in first place with one lap lead however he was disqualified due to the lower weight of his car. Neto used a borrowed batteries for the last race and did not take into account the weight difference between his batteries and the borrowed ones. His car reached only 1333 grams and the limit here was 1350 grams.
For FS MZ MODELSPORT the event was a big success. Among the 10 finalists they had seven cars out of which 5 were brand new XRAY T4 chassis showing that the new platform is really very good.
The winner is the team FS MODELSPORT MZ and RC America sponsored new XRAY driver Felipe Franceschi
Thank goes to Dino Racing for organizing such a great event.
