The first round of 2024 1/10 Offroad Czech Nationals took place last weekend in Bohumin.
The event started on Friday afternoon with free practice, followed by 3 qualifying rounds and 3 finals on Saturday.
I had a perfect start into the race, securing the overall double TQ after the first two rounds, followed by Dominik Vlasek 2nd and Ales Bidovsky 3rd in both Mod classes, while Jan Hofman took the TQ in the 4WD Stock class and Jiří Gebauer in 2WD Stock class.
2WD finals had very close racing in all three runs, where me and Dominik went into A3 with one win each. In the end he managed to get by and take the win, me finishing 2nd and Ales 3rd. While the 2WD finals were a little bit of struggle, 4WD went well and I converted the TQ into a win with solid gaps in front of Dominik and Ales. In the Stock classes Jan Hofman converted his TQ into a double win with his XRAY rides, while his son Daniel won both Junior Mod classes.
Good job to the organisation guys, they did a good job running ahead of schedule and made a very clean running race, good job to Dominik for his win, and thanks to all my sponsors for their continuos support.
6th and final round of XRS Slovakia is up this coming weekend, as the last carpet race of this season, before we head out for outdoor racing.
