An emotional day at Durham County Model Car Club - DCMCC today for the #KarlBrownMemorialCup
Practice was a wet one and my #XB2D and #FlowX were simply amazing....
Round 1 was much of the same I managed to take the TQ comfortably the only car to get onto the 13 laps.
Round 2 & 3 were tricky conditions and correct car selection and tyre was difficult. Ultimately I made some wrong decisions costing me the over all TQ.
For the finals I was confident both wet and dry cars had enough to take the win.
It rained a little again before the finals so again car choice was difficult, I opted for the #XB2D which proved to be the right choice.
I made a pass early and hung on for the win.
My LRP GmbH power and XRAY cars were amazing in all conditions today.
Karl I hope I did you proud mate, I don't often say this but I really really wanted to win this meeting. Even more so when I saw you Mam, Dad, and Alex and how proud they were. Iv got my name on your trophy now mate and I hope to get it on again next year.
