X12 on podium at European Championship, Italy |

The 2024 EFRA European Championships in the 1/12 class was hosted by the permanent track of Paradise RC Arena in Venetico, Sicily (Italy). The race saw a good field of drivers in both modified, stock and the LC 1/14 support class!
In the modified class, I was able to qualify 3rd overall, after a very close qualifying, which was only decided in the very last round. I TQ'ed one round, and came within 1s of TQ'ing two other rounds, which meant that I had to settle for 3rd on the grid for the A-finals. I finished 2nd in A2, but I was demoted to 3rd overall on the final standings, after receiving a 5s penalty in the A3 which I won! When I made the pass for the lead I thought that it was a fair move. Unfortunately, the referee thought otherwise.

Our X12'24 was the most used car in the modified A-final, with 7x cars! Jan Ratheisky, Alessio Mazzeo, Giaimo Rosario, Martin Hudy, Tomas Liptak and Markus Mobers also made the A-final in this prestigious class for XRAY!
In the 13.5T stock class, Jan Ratheisky made a convincing effort for the win, after qualifying 3rd, winning A1 in a superb fashion (followed by German XRAY team mate Stefan Schulz) to eventually and narrowly missing out on the overall win by just one point. A3 was a real nail biter, as Jan was closing on the two leaders in the 2nd half of the race. Stefan Schulz and Markus Andreasson made it 3x X12'24 cars in the A-final, as they finished 6th and 8th respectively!
