Last weekend, the 2nd round of the EOS was held at the Hudy Arena in Trencin. It was also a very important weekend for XRAY, given that it was the official launch of the XB2. The results, we were able to get in the first EOS, already proven that the car was great but we were really looking forward to understand the feedback from all the XRAY drivers about it.
Like it was expected, after a couple of practice rounds we were able to understand that the car was working perfectly for all the drivers and that we would be able to get a great team result for the debut of the XB2.

As for myself, in the 2WD soon in the practice rounds, I understood that the basic setup that I also used in the first EOS was the best combination for this track too. Unfortunately some mistakes cost me a better place in the qualify rounds which also impacted the result in the finals. At this level the drivers quality and also the high pace, mean that a 4th place in the qualifies makes the fight for the win at least 3 times more challenging. Even so, I managed to fight for the podium finishing in the 3rd position. Overall in the 2WD I think we had a great start, given that we had 4 XB2 drivers in the A-main.

Regarding the 4WD, at this point Iâ™m super happy and confident with my XB4. This is my favorite off road car to drive, given that my 2WD skills are still needing some more work. The setup is still the basic one that I used in the first EOS and also in Japan, and the car is super stable and fast which allowed me to get another TQ and win my first EOS round. Overall the result was again amazing given that we managed to get 5 XB4 drivers in the A-main.

More than my results, Iâ™m super happy with the amazing results that the entire team was able to achieve this last weekend, and I know we still have a lot to improve and next time the results will be even better. So congratulations to all XRAY drivers, and Iâ™ll see you again in the next race.
