On Sunday 22nd Attiko Cup took place in Athens Greece at Fanatix Racing Track. The race had 3 qualification rounds with the best one to count and 30minutes finals. XRAY driver Dimitriou managed to make his best qualification in his first attempt early in the morning when the track was still cold with better lap times. Second on the grid was Licaris a very fast young talent so the race was extremely close and interesting.
The finals started with a delay because of a half an hour rain. The track was a little different but after some minutes the laps were close to the qualification ones. The main final was easier than expected and Dimitriou had an easy job with flawless driving of his Orcan powered XRAY. Sotiropoulos had his moment with an unexpectable flame out and Licaris with some minor problems didnâ™t succeed to saw his true potentials. Finally Nikiforos managed to capture the 3rd place just 1,7â™â™ in front of Christodoulou so 1st and 3rd place was for XRAY Orcan cars.
Drivers had a great time at this big high speed track. XRAY had a strong presence at that race. Weâ™d like to thank all for the pleasant atmosphere. Stay tuned for next nitro races.
