Uisp Indoor Nats took place last week end in Scandiano on the famous track of RC Landia. Drivers were divided in three classes: 13.5 No Timing, 10.5 Timing and Modified. Race started on Saturday afternoon with 2 rounds of controlled practice and 2 rounds of qualification. On Sunday 3 rounds of qualifications and 3 finals. The news in this race was the Manufacturer Title!

13.5 No Timing Class:
In this class the fight was immediately tight between many fast drivers. At the end was Davide Bertuzzi (XRAY) to take Pole Position winning 3 out of 5 rounds in front of Gabriele Berselli and Simone Alleotti. Also Edoardo Repetti and Andrea Valerio using XRAY were fast enough to be A Main finalists.
In the finals Bertuzzi was able to take the title offering a nice show thanks to the fight with Berselli and Alleotti. Great result for Repetti, arrived 4th starting 8th on the grid! Good finals also for Andrea Valerio, arrived 8th starting 10th on the grid.
In This Class was Luca Giovannoni the leader from the beginning. Luca won 4 out of 5 qualification round taking the Pole Position in front of Samuele Romagnoli and Andrea Efficace. 4th Claudio Sassi and 5th Marco Berselli both using XRAY. Ranking was exactly the same after the finals and Giovannoni took the final victory.
From the beginning my T4 2016 was amazing and it allowed me to be TQ winning 3 out 5 qualifications, 2nd was my teammate Mattia Collina followed by Dario Balestri. 5th Fabrizio Manicardi and 7th Luca Torreggiani both on XRAY.
Qualy Ranking
Car was perfect also in the finals so I was able to win the first 2 finals and the final victory. Also Mattia Collina confirmed the potential showed in the qualifications arriving 2nd in front of Dario Balestri 3rd .
Congratulations to all XRAY drivers for taking part at this Italian Championship. In this race we won all classes but also Manufacturer Title in 10.5 Timing and Modified, 2nd place in 13.5 No Timing. It is an almost perfect result so many thanks for the great job!
