Race report by Kuba Simurda
We had a couple of interesting names on the list. Magnus Vässmar did not hesitate to visit Czech race from very distant Sweden. Also Zdenko Kunak and Oliver Havranek, Kuba Simurda or Matej Sulc deserve mentioning.

All those guys started in Modified class what ensured a nice watch during final heats. The same we could have said about Stock class. Oliver Havranek would have been hunted again by Martin Kratochvil and Karel Kratochvil. On the other hand, LeMans class should have been dominated by well experienced Roman Krejci. Clear story was also expected in Formula division with Lukas Hoch on the top of current ranking list.

So let´s move to the race itself. Practice kicked off in early morning. Particularly at 6:30 AM to make all the guys have enough laps done. As HIT 130 was supposed to be a warm-up for incoming Czech nationals, track was quite similar to the one used on mentioned event. Martin Babovsky – head track designer built a shape considered by drivers as a tricky one. The result appeared in separations between drivers, which were much bigger than usually.

Formula:
Lukas Hoch´s domination continued even in the last race of winter season in Holesov. Separation between first and second driver was huge. At least there was a nice fight for the second spot between Petr Novotny and Simon Horak. At the end Simon could enjoy the runner-up position locking Peter behind his back.

Stock:
Slower 4WD class served very nice battles to spectators around. Oliver Havranek, holding TQ from qualification was able manage Ludvik Kurecka behind. This must have been pretty exhausting thanks to all attacks from Ludvik. Behind the first couple fight for the third spot could raise up. Karel Kratochvil protected it successfully in front of his son Martin. Fifth place went to Tono Sloboda.

Modified:
Nor Modified class wanted to be ashamed by making people bored. Drivers took that seriously and A final was an eye catching experience. Zdenko Kunak brought his new Awesomatix for the first time in Holesov. Knowing almost nothing about new car he just put the carpet setup on and hit the track. However it was enough to reach TQ obviously. Magnus Vässmar put his car on the second spot and Oliver Havranek started behind them. After the starting tone Magnus tried hard, but Zdenko was confident with new chassis. He maintained his position and won the race. Magnus came for second position and Oliver Havranek exploited situation in the third run and moved in front of Kuba Simurda on the third spot.
