As the exciting 2016/2017 PROTOform WCICS season comes closer to the final race next month in Calgary were the new series champions will be crowned, WCICS R7 in Kamloops would prove to be a very competitive event with lots of points up for grabs. Team RCAmerica/XRAY was very well represented with team drivers taking wins and maximum points in 4 of the sanctioned WCICS classes.

Qualifying went very well as the team worked together sharing ideas and theories to come to get maximum pace out of the older grey carpet. The result was 4 TQs including the most competitive and highest entry class, 17.5 stock touring car.

Other than the amazing venue the host club chose for this event, the highlight of the event for many of the racers was the XRAY Work.shop hosted by Luke Pittman. Luke took his time explaining in detail the proper way to setup and tweak a touring car for competition. With the success of this workshop more dates will be set for the remaining of the 2017 race calendar.
