Race report by Daniel Kobbevik
The third round of the 1/8 electric nats, was hosted by Oslo Model Car Club, and it was free practice on Saturday, so our plan was to just go in on Saturday and make sure everything was working well. It did not, we struggled with electronics and I had no brakes on speedo, so we were close to dropping the race, but we managed to get a new speedo that could be delivered mid day on sunday, so that ment that we had to start with a speedo with no brakes.

So on Sunday, it was time for race start, and I had to run first qualifier with no brakes, but I still managed to take second in first round, so smooth driving can actually be fast.... we got the new speedo for second qualifier, and then it was much easier to drive, and also possible to go faster, so I TQ'd the last two quallies.

This race was mostly meant for testing for the Nitro Nationals next weekend, so we tested so many things during this race, and it paid off! In finals, the car was great, and I could easy pull away, won first final. In second final battery died after just 2 laps, so I had to win last final to take overall win. Last final we changed the shock setup and tried some new tires, and I could control the win, and won the race.

Nice sunday with TQ, and Victory with my XB8E 2017 :)
