Claus Ryeskov with his NT1 2017 was crowned Danish Champion 2017 this past weekend, at the RC track in Naestved.
The Danish nationals had 3 rounds over this summer, the 3rd and final was set to be a thriller.

Ryeskov had prior to the weekend the point advantage in the championship, but still needed a top 3 finish to secure the title.
Rene Kjellerup and Chris Nielsen only a few points behind Ryeskov, was gunning for Claus and the title.
Ryeskov secured TQ and a important point in the championship, ahead of Chris Nielsen 2nd and Rene Kjellerup 3rd, on the starting grid for the final.

Chris Nielsen who in his debut season has shown great promise and skill with his NT1, had the pace to put Ryeskov under preasure, but once the final started Ryeskov showed why he is multiple 1/10 Champion in Denmark.
From his 1st position on the starting grid, he never looked back and maintained through the final a safe lead to 2nd place driver Chris Nielsen, who was batteling Rene Kjellerup and Lars Bo Larsen for 2nd and 3rd possition.
After 30 mins of racing Claus Ryeskov could drive his NT1 to the chekkered flag as the National Champion, finishing ahead of Chris Nielsen and Lars Bo Larsen make it a clean XRAY sweep of the podium.
