Yesterday my family and I headed to Thunder Alley in Wilson NC. Shout out to Luis Diego on the killer track layout. I ran nitro buggy nitro truggy and e buggy. During practice we got all 3 XRAY cars set up and ready for qualifying. Qualifying went great as I TQed nitro buggy and nitro truggy, and qualified 3rd in e buggy. First up was nitro buggy. In the start of the race Austin Woodyard and I moves away from the pack and I made a small bobble and Austin took the corner. I kept in touch for part of the race but had to do a extra pit and some trouble with lap traffic, but at the end I would take 2nd overall.
Second main was nitro truggy and In the start of the race i clipped a pipe and dropped to about 5th I worked my way back up and battled with Michael Kramer for a few minutes and started to check out and go on the lap the field to take the overall win. Last up was e buggy and when the tone went off I immediately jumped to first and had a 2 corner lead on the rest of the pack. 2 minutes in and the computer software glitched so we had to restart. So once again I got out front quickly and was uncontested the rest of the race having about half a lap on the rest of the field.
My XRAY XB8, XB8E, and XT8 were dialed all day long.I ran AKA Super Soft Gridpacts in nitro buggy, super soft long wear in e buggy and super soft long wear gridirons in truggy.
