The last round of 2019 1/10 Czech National series took a place last weekend in Praslavice, Czech Republic.
There was open practice on Friday evening, so I with my dad went there as soon as possible to try few things, but mainly to get used to the carpet again, as it was my first indoor carpet race this year.

Saturday morning started qualifications, the Q1 didnâ™t go very well and with some mistakes I finished 2nd behind Ales Bidovsky in both classes. 4wd Q2 went already much better and I took the TQ, as well as in the Q3 to secure the overall TQ in front of Ales in 2nd and Marek Schiller in 3rd. Q2 with 2wd again didnâ™t go by plan and I again took 2nd, which gave Ales the overall TQ spot. I TQed the Q3 to start 2nd on the grid in front of Marek again in 3rd. With Truck I had some transponder problem in Q1, but I TQed Q2 and Q3 to start 1st, in front of 2nd Jan Hofman and 3rd Rafal Ertel.
4WD finals went as I wanted to and I was able to win A1 and A2 to secure the overall Win, Ales took overall 2nd as he won A3 and Marek 3rd.

With Truck I was able to win A1 and A2 to secure the Win, in front of 2nd Jan and 3rd Rafal. I was also the best Junior in all three classes.

The 2WD A1 was a bit of disaster for me, as I made a few mistakes and dropped down to 3rd in the end. I changed some things on the setup and the car was much better for the A2, and I was able to hold on to the fight for the win until the last corner, but unfortunately came in 2nd just a few tenths back behind Ales who took the overall win. I won the A3 to take overall 2nd in front of 3rd Marek.

As this was the last race of the 2019 season, we also had the overall championship prize-giving ceremony. I became double Czech National champion with 4wd and Truck, Vice-champion with 2wd and Triple Junior champion. Ales took the title in 2wd, as the battle kept on until the last round and he won, congrats!

All my three cars were doing excellent on all surfaces this year! Now Iâ™m looking forward for all the upcoming indoor races, starting with the first round of XRS Slovakia next weekend!
