Last weekend the 4th run of the Austrian Championship took place at the 1.MRC Wiener Neustadt. First of all, a huge compliment to the organizer. Incredible what the club in recent years, year after year on the legs and this can always top.

An incredible exciting race. Patrick Gollner could decide Q1 for himself. Q2 went to Victor Smid, and Q3 to Sascha Klug. So the TQ question was decided in the last Q4. Tension was quite tense, but Patrick Gollner with his new XRAY X4 could grab TQ and the hotlap and stood in the final on TQ.
In the final we decided to go to 12t which was quite interesting with lap times over 12 seconds. But Patrick didn't let it get him down and won A1 and A2 to take the day's win on his home track.

In the stock class it was a very close race, who will capture TQ and the day victory. 4 people fought in the qualification runs for TQ. At the end David Danner with his XRAY T4 could prevail. In his 1st final it unfortunately went badly for David. A small mistake in the first round cost him 6 places. But could still bring in the 3 in the end. In A2 and A3 David was invincible and drove sovereign home and could snatch the day's victory. With this performance he secured his runner-up position in the stock class.
