Last weekend was the final round of the BRCA F1 national series, heading this time to Broxtowe Mode Car Club
Saturday saw some sunny weather and a good day of testing, getting the car feeling good for the race day on Sunday. As always we made a few changes but ended with a setup very similar to every other round this year, showing how well the car works at every track
Onto Sunday and some overnight rain meant the track was damp, and with no sun it was going to take a while to dry out
In Q1 on a slippery track I was managing to find the grip where others couldn’t, this meant I took a comfortable P1
Q2 and the track was still greasy but the car was going faster, this change in pace of the track caught me out and I made a couple of mistakes, but fortunately I had the speed to retake P1 before the end of the race
Q3 the track was dry again, so back onto slick tyres and full race speed. Once again the car performed well, taking another P1 and putting me on pole position for the finals
Starting on pole and getting a good start in all 3 finals meant I could control the race from the front and not have to over push to defend my position, this meant I took all 3 wins in the finals also

Winning this weekend also secured the overall championship once again, making it a total of 6 BRCA F1 Championships since the class was added to the series in 2016.
