Season finale at the AMC Tirol in Kematen
The season finale took place at the AMC Tirol in Kematen. Unfortunately I could drive to Tirol on Sunday and therefore I didn't have much time to get to know the track, which was new for me.
During the short practice and the heats I was still looking for the right setup and the ideal line. In the final run things got better and with a perfect start I managed to move up from seventh to second position. A hard fight began and in the course of the race I was in third position for a long time until my first gear broke. At the end, I was able to work my way up from last place to fifth position with my Xray NT1 23/FX.
Stephan Strasser with Xray NT1 23 started as the fastest in the preliminary run, landed in the second position in the final run and became third in the Austrian Championship in the class 1/10.
Sascha Klug with Xray NT1 23 started as the fastest in the preliminary run, won this run and thus became Austrian National Champion in the class 1/8.
In this year's season, I was able to win the Austrian Championship in the 1/10 class and the Youth State Championship title early with two wins and a second place.
